23 If the scourge should suddenly [a]slay, should God [b]laugh at the punishment of the innocent?

24 The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: [c]he covereth the faces of the judges thereof: if not, where [d]is he? or who is he?

25 My days have been more swift than a post: they have fled, and have seen no good thing.
